Itinerary of the Package Cusco Machu Picchu 6D:
Day 1 Cusco, Golden, Sacred, Q`enco, Red Red, Drum
The tour begins with the pick up of our visitors at an average of 13:30 pm to 13:45 pm. From their respective hotels in the city of Cusco, to then continue with the visit of the following tourist attractions (Archaeological remains), known as the city tour

Sacsayhuaman.- The name of Sacsayhuaman in Quechua means “satisfied falcon”. It is said that this falcon was the bird that watched over the entire Inca empire. The “ceremonial construction” of Sacsayhuamán is located 2 km from Cuzco, in this place the festival in the sun (Inti Raymi) is currently celebrated every June 24 of each year.
Qenqo.- Its name in Quechua means “labyrinth” and it is located 6 kilometers from the city of Cusco. This archaeological park was described as an amphitheater, since on the outside you can see a semicircular construction. In reality, the purpose of this construction is unknown since a ceremonial table, zigzag channels, niches, etc. can be seen. that could well have been used as an altar. It is presumed that it was one of the most important sanctuaries that existed in the Incas.
Puca Pucara.- In Quechua it means “Red Fortress” due to the red color that the rocks obtain, this old tambo was a military construction and surveillance post for the valley of Cusco and all the Quechua roads, this fortress was built by large walls , stairways and terraces that were part of the defensive complex of the Inca Empire Its construction is of a rustic type made up of streets, houses, and patios.

Day 2 Sacred Valley Tour and Connection to Aguas Calientes
We will pick you up at your hotel/hostel at 08:10 a.m. at 8:30 to start our trip to the impressive Sacred Valley of the Incas, on the way we will have views of beautiful landscapes and small towns, we will also make some stops at the Qorao and Taray viewpoints from where we will observe the peaks of the mountains and the Vilcanota river that passes through this valley, we will have time to visit the typical Pisaq market where we can observe and buy some handcrafted souvenirs made by the inhabitants with ancestral traditions, after the respective explanation we will go to the Archaeological Complex of PISAQ , is located approximately 1 hour from the city of Cusco, where we will find Inca constructions and terraces of great importance since these served as an adaptation area for some products of the Inca region, in addition to also serving as a surveillance place for the entrance to the sacred valley, here we will have a guided tour for approximately 2 hours where our bilingual guide will give us extensive information about the archaeological complex.
Then we will go to the town of Urubamba where we will have a delicious buffet lunch with typical food of the region in a tourist restaurant, then we will continue our journey until we reach the town of Ollantaytambo, the famous Living Inca Town, where we will have a guided tour of the archaeological complex. , from where we will also see the impressive face that stands out on the hill, of the famous god Tunupa.
We will board the train at the Ollantaytambo station at approximately 4:30 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. towards the town of Aguas Calientes, where the hotel staff awaits us to take us to the hotel, where we will spend the night. (Optionally we can enjoy the hot springs of this place)
Day 3 Guided tour in Machu Picchu and Return to Cusco
MVery early after our breakfast at the Hotel, we will board the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu, arriving at the Archaeological Complex we will immerse ourselves in the impressive and incomparable beauty of our greatest Inca architectural and hydraulic sample considered one of the 7 modern wonders of the world. , where we will have a guided tour of approximately 2 hours accompanied by a specialist guide who will give us substantial and concise information about our historical and cultural legacy as well as a broad description about our imposing Machu Picchu, later we will descend to the town of Aguas Calientes to enjoy our lunch with the greatest tranquility, finally we will board the train to Ollantaytambo where our tourist bus will wait for us to return to the city of Cusco and transfer you to your hotel.
Day 4 Cusco – Cusipata – Chillihuani – Mountain of Seven Colors – Cusco
The 7 Colors Mountain Hike or tour: The adventure begins very early at 04:30 a.m. We will start the pick-up from your different lodgings until 05:00 a.m., and then we will go to the picturesque Chirihuani town center of the Cusipata district (Quispicanchi) to the south of the city of Cusco, where we will make a stop to enjoy a delicious breakfast
Then we return to our minibus to go to Phullapatawasi. Starting point of our walk, We will start our walk for 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES, up the mountain until we reach the foothills of the RED VALLEY (Vinicunca hill), access point to this mystical place.
We will walk along a path that little by little will change the panorama between mountains of intense colors and small streams of frozen water that feed and give life to this valley, as we walk we will observe how the colors around us will change due to the weather, we will arrive at a height of 5020 meters above sea level. This will be the point where we will have enough time to take photos, videos, etc. After such an exquisite experience, we will undertake the return walk to Phullapatawasi, where we will board the minibus that will take us to Cusipata, where we will have a delicious buffet lunch. Later, we will return to Cusco arriving at around 5:00 p.m., thus we will finish the walk to the mountain of 7 colors.
Day 5 Cusco - Mollepata - Soraypampa - Humantay Lagoon - Cusco
The trip begins in the city of Cusco at approximately 4:30 in the morning (we will pick you up at your lodging). After two and a half hours by car we will arrive at the town of Mollepata, where we will have breakfast. The trip continues for about 45 minutes until reaching Soraypampa (3,870 meters), a place used as a camping area. From this place begins the walk of about an hour and a half until you reach the beautiful Laguna de Humantay.
You, without a doubt, will be impressed by the turquoise color of the Humantay lagoon, which is at an altitude of (4,200 meters). Even if you are a little short of breath, you will be very happy to be in this beautiful and impressive place. You can also see two great mountains such as Humantay and Salkantay, mountains considered sacred by the Incas.
After enjoying the tranquility and the beautiful landscapes of the place, we will begin the return to Soraypampa that will take us approximately an hour and a half walking. Then we will go back to the town of Mollepata to have lunch. On the way back to our final destination we will be able to see more beautiful landscapes and a beautiful sunset. Finally tired but happy we will arrive at the city of Cusco (6 in the afternoon) approximately

Today the Cusco Machupicchu 7 days package ends, we will pick you up 2 hours before your flight schedule to transfer you to the airport.

The return train schedule at the end of the Tour/Trek: It is the Expedition Train at 18:20pm or 19:00pm DEPENDING ON AVAILABILITY.
If you prefer the earlier train return we can reserve it for an additional cost of 35 dollars per person; the times you can choose are: 14:55pm or 16:35pm. We also offer the option to reserve the 3:40pm Vistadome train for an additional cost of $65 per person. Please, tell us in advance what is the train schedule of your preference. We inform you that none of the reserved trains go directly to Cusco, the trains only arrive at the Ollantaytambo or Poroy stations. In any of the cases we will always guarantee the shipment of a transport that will pick them up and bring them back to Cusco.
Can I exchange my return train ticket for an earlier one? in the same station of Aguas Calientes?
Yes, you can make this change in person at the Aguas Calientes train station. However, they will ask you to pay an additional fee to change the ticket and this change will be subject to the availability of spaces and schedules on the train.
How long does the return trip to Cusco take?
It’s about 3 hours. You will first board a train in Aguas Calientes to the train station in Ollantaytambo for 1h30m; then a transfer from our office will be waiting for you at the exit of the train station with a sign that will have your name on it to take you to our car/van back to Cusco for approximately 1h30m; finally it will take you to your hotel/hostel. You will receive your train tickets once your tour in Machu Picchu has finished.

what to bring
What you need to take to the Inca Trail:
- We recommend that you take only what is necessary to enjoy your tour and leave the rest of your things at the hotel in Cusco.
- -The original passport or document with which you made the tour reservation,
- -A small backpack of 50 liters that allows you to introduce all the things you will take with you
- -A sleeping bag preferably at least 5 to 10 degrees below zero, this can be synthetic or feather, if you do not have one you can rent it from our office.
- -Appropriate clothing for walking, waterproof and comfortable shoes for long walks, short and long pants, dry fit sports shirts, rain jacket or rain jacket.
Warm clothes to be used in the camp (We recommend cotton clothes that are very comfortable to sleep in, a hat and gloves for the cold. What happens if you renew your passport?
If you renew or change the number or names of your passport or documents after having made the reservation of the tour / trek, you must send us a photograph of the new passport; we will make the change with the authorities before you arrive in Cusco; the extra cost to make the change is $20 that will cover expenses in the change of Entrance to the Inca Trail, Entrance to Machu Picchu and train tickets. If you do not wish to pay the $20 for the corresponding changes, you must bring your new and old passport or document to show it to the authorities (Inca Trail, Entrance to Machu Picchu, train tickets). If you do not have the 2 passports, you will have to buy a new entrance to the Inca Trail, Machu Picchu and the train on your own, the costs could be around $100.

Can I change my return train ticket from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo for an earlier one?

In this case you will be responsible for assuming the costs related to your return transportation from Ollantaytambo to Cusco.
How long will it take to return to Cusco?
You will travel for about three and a half hours before returning to Cusco. And this is divided into a one and a half hour trip on the train until you reach the Ollantaytambo train station. From there our driver will pick you up outside the train station. Our drivers will be waiting for you with a sign with your name on it, so there will be no confusion. If you don’t see our driver initially, just wait for him outside the station. Once our driver has picked you up you will travel for another hour and a half before returning to Cusco.
Where to store your things: You can leave or store the things that you will not take to the Inca Trail in the hotel or hostel where you are staying. Most of these establishments have warehouses where they will store your things. If you do not trust the place where you are staying, we will gladly store your belongings in our office.
