The exact time of the overflight is assigned by the Nazca airfield according to the weather conditions and air traffic on the day. For this reason, there may be waiting times before boarding the aircraft.

Flights depend on weather conditions and visibility. If the weather does not allow the overflight at the scheduled time, it may be rescheduled for later the same day or for the following day, subject to availability.

Weight and flight regulations:

Itinerary

Itinerary of the Paracas, Huacachina & Nazca Lines Tour 2 Days / 1 Night:

DAY 1: Ballestas Islands Tour – Ica – Huacachina – Sandboarding and Overnight in Nazca

Between 4:30 and 5:00 a.m., we will pick you up from your hotel to begin the journey to Paracas. Around 9:30 a.m., we will arrive at El Chaco pier, where we will board modern speedboats for the excursion to the Ballestas Islands, located within the Paracas National Reserve. During the tour, you will observe a great variety of marine wildlife such as sea lions, Humboldt penguins, flamingos, parihuanas, and numerous seabirds that inhabit the islands. You will also see the famous Paracas Candelabra, a huge geoglyph etched into the sand, whose history and theories will be explained by the guide. The boat tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.

After the excursion, we will continue the journey to Ica, arriving around 1:00 p.m., where you will have free time for lunch (not included). Later, we will visit a traditional winery where you can taste typical regional products such as wines, piscos, pisco creams, macerated drinks, and mistelas. We will also visit the Noelia Chocolate Factory, where you can sample delicious artisanal products such as chocotejas, alfajores, jams, cookies, and other traditional sweets.

Later, we will take an excursion to the beautiful Huacachina Oasis, located just a few minutes from the center of Ica. Here you can walk around the lagoon, enjoy the desert landscape, and take excellent photographs.

Around 6:15 p.m., we will transfer you to the bus station to board the Cruz del Sur bus service departing for Nazca at 7:00 p.m.. Arrival in Nazca is expected at approximately 10:00 p.m., where our staff will meet you and transfer you to the selected hotel for overnight accommodation.

Important: The arrival time in Nazca may vary depending on seat availability with the transportation company at the time the tour reservation is made.

Day 2: Nazca – Nazca Lines Overflight – Lima

After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up and transfer you to the Nazca airfield, where you will enjoy the exciting overflight of the famous Nazca Lines. During the approximately 30-minute flight, you will observe from the air several of the impressive figures traced in the desert more than a thousand years ago, such as the hummingbird, monkey, spider, condor, astronaut, and other mysterious geometric shapes that can only be fully appreciated from the sky.

After the overflight, you will return to the hotel and have free time to rest or explore the town. Later, you will have time to have lunch on your own before the transfer to the bus terminal. In the afternoon, you will board the comfortable Cruz del Sur bus service back to Lima.
