Itinerary of the Pampachiri Stone Forest and Smurfs House Tour:

Day 1

Our adventure starts before sunrise picking you up from your accommodation in Cusco around 5:00am. We will then drive for 4h until we reach the National Sanctuary of Ampay. There, we will hike for around 2h hours until we reach la laguna Anq’asccocha.

We will enjoy the nature of this sanctuary full of endemic species before we take the same way back to the entrance of the park. We will then drive for three hours and a half before we arrive to Andahuaylas, where we will spend the night in a hotel. You will have free time in the evening if you want to explore the city.

Day 2

On the second day, we will leave Andahuaylas early to have plenty of time to enjoy the stone forest (bosque de piedras) and the smurf’s houses (casa de los pitufos). We will drive about two hours and a half until we reach the village of Pampachiri, and then, another forty minutes before we reach the stone forest. We will explore there for a few hours.

We will then drive back to Pampachiri where we will have lunch before starting our drive back to Cusco. We will arrive to Cusco around nine hours later, during the night, and we will let you to your hotel.
